Fragile creations folded from countless hours became a personal possession I could no longer hold onto forever. After hauling this piece from Chicago to Austin, on a temporary move, I decided to let it go. I took a photo as a memento and wondered if someone walking by would give this a new home. I will never know.
Art work is often a buddhist practise in labor without attachment. This piece did serve in giving me a passing grade for my undergraduate studies in 3D design, which I had the good luck of having a patient teacher for.
